Are magnetic clasps magic?

Magnetic clasps are just one of the types of clasps which are available to jewelry makers to use in their latest creations. Many people actually prefer magnetic closing mechanisms to any other type of clasp because they are incredibly easy to operate, especially for those who have limited dexterity in their fingers. For this reason, magnetic clasps are often put into jewelry items which are designed to be worn by older people. To open magnetic clasps, the user must simply apply a small amount of force in opposite directions, so that the two halves of the clasp separate. To close the clasp again, simply place the two opposite halves of the clasp close to one another and they should 'jump' back together again. It almost seems like magic, but how do these magnetic clasps really work?

Magnetic clasps actually work because of some of the basic principles of physics. They rely on special forces known as magnetic forces. These forces are not harmful to people or animals, unless they are swallowed, so there is no need to worry about these forces affecting you if you choose to wear jewelry with magnetic clasps. Because they do not pose a health risk, this is another reason why these "magic" clasps are considered to be a popular choice.

Because some materials are natural magnetic, the wonders of magnetism have been puzzling scientists for thousands and thousands of years. In recent times, scientists have been able to develop a better understanding about how things work. The "magic" occurs because the magnet has a special field around it, known as a magnetic field. This field occurs because negatively charged electrons in the magnetic metal create magnetic forces which can be felt in a certain radius around the metal. This is related to the charge of the particles in the air around the magnet. These forces either attract or repel other magnetically charged metals, based on their polarity.

North attracts South and South attracts North, whereas South repels South and North repels North. For this reason, you may sometimes feel the two ends of your magnetic clasp beginning to repel each other if you cross the two ends over each other. If you do notice this, there is nothing to be concerned about, because the poles will soon realign and the opposite ends of the clasp will begin to be attracted towards each other instead.

Although there are a few naturally magnetic materials, it is possible to make other metals into magnets using a variety of techniques. The magnets which you have as part of your magnetic bracelet fastenings are most likely to have been magnetized using one of these techniques. Using a special technique to magnetize widely available metals is a great way to make inexpensive jewelry findings. Although it is only possible to magnetize a few metals, these include some metals which are very widely available. This is just one of the reasons why magnets are available in so many different sizes and shapes.

Magnetic clasps work using simple science, not magic. Include these clasps in your jewelry if you want pieces that are easy to open and close.

tips for Easy Drawing Shear Force Diagram

SFD (Shear Force Diagram)? nahhhh now I give 5 steps and easy for drawing SFD almost all types of SFD correctly   kita pinjam diagram di atas dari web Mr Engineer Langkah 1 mestilah kena calculate nilai reactions bg simply supported beam. Both of the reactions will be equal. Since, beam is symmetrical. i.e., R1 = R2 = W/2 = 1000 kg..   Langkah kedua kira semua tindakan daya dengan guna equation asas pada point A, B dan C When simply supported beam is carrying point loads. Then find shear force value in sections. Shear force value will remain same up to point load. Value of shear force at point load changes and remain same until any other point load come into action. Shear force between ( A – B ) = S.F (A-B) = 1000 kg Shear force between (B – C) = S.F (B -C) = 1000 – 2000 S.F (B – C) = – 1000 kg. Langkah 3 Nahhhh boleh lah lukis SFD. amik pensel sekarang...   Nampak tak? Langkah 4 In case of simply supported be...

Time Waits for No One - How to manage your Time

Time Waits for No One - How to Manage Your Time By Cleo WhittinghamSubmitted On September 21, 2015 Who is to blame? We allow or minds to be bombarded with information every single second of the day. Media and the smartphone are the favourite culprits but the truth and reality behind that is, we have to switch the TV on, we have to open up the browser, we have to sign up to social media platforms. It's very interesting to hear many shout about the ultimate devil, Facebook, or for those who believe Twitter is for the more sophisticated among us but the cold hard facts are we love social media, we get all caught up in their webs (pun intended) and we thrive on it. Take Responsibility - Recognise your weakness muscles & give them a work out. Social media and the internet, family, work, squeezed in hobbies a bit of socialising wedged in at the weekend and we fall into bed at the end of a hectic day and our last thoughts drift to what we really want to be spending our time...
